Wings to fly away and exercise what's been taught them.” Dr. Jonas Salk This quote is so personally fitting because I'm an avid gardener and love researching our family roots while my husband, the small engine pilot, has the aviation and flying end of things covered, so I figure, we're good!
Yesterday I started picking my dad's brain again about our family history. I started this project over 14 years ago, but took a ten year break to start my own family. Having children of my own and another decade under my belt, I feel renewed and excited to start gathering and disseminating this information for myself, my children, and my extended family. I hope this provides inspiration for all of us to dig a little deeper into our ancestry.
