Dearest Wife
Arrived
safely and I am still on ship, will leave tomorrow morning for the camp. I sure
was surprised to hear I was selected to go. I sure had an awful trip, but I am
glad it is over and at last I am over here.
Dearest baby
I will write to you as often as I can so you won’t worry. I have an awful lot
to tell you.
Save your
money for I don’t know when I will get paid. I will make? As soon as I can.
Dearest I am
dying for some love, and I miss you and I will keep you in front of me all the
time.
I can’t tell
you anything about dates and places but will write you a long letter as soon as
I can and you probably will get another one before this one. I expect to see
John soon.
Love and
kisses to Jack, Estelle and Al, love Fred and Estelle.
Millions of
kisses and bushels of love to the sweetest baby on earth
From your lonesome daddy Al.
From your lonesome daddy Al.
