Haugen: Slombhaugen in Norway

The above photo is of Slomhaugen where my George Haugen grew up. George left his name Jorgen behind when he came to America. The house on the left of the picture was built by Jorgen Slomhaugen around 1900 before he traveled to America. I'm unclear as to whether George himself built this house or if it was built by his father. Does anyone know? Thank you Mary Ann for copying it. It was a gift from Cousin Karl who visited Minnesota last October.
The Mikulaks (Robert, Gunnel, Lena and Anna) took a trip to Sweden and Norway in July 2007. They were lucky enough to get to see the farms where both Grandpa George Haugen and Grandma Caroline Haugen (née Hanson) were born and lived until they emigrated. Below are a few pictures. Slombhaugen, the Haugen family farm, located near Vågåmo and Randsverk, in Vågå municipality, in Oppland county, in Norway. The farm is still owned by Haugen descendants who are descended from Grandpa George Haugen’s nephew Oddmund Kleiven. Nerjordet, the Hanson family farm, located near Bråtå, in Skjåk municipality, in Oppland county, in Norway. The farm is owned by a distant relation, Torgeir Teigum, who is about a fifth cousin to Bob Mikulak (son of Inez, daughter of George and Caroline).
